How do I book an appointment?
You can book online at bookdoc.co.za/pretoriahealth, send us a WhatsApp message, or call us on 012 051 7030.
What does a consultation cost?
The standard consultation fee is R650. See our pricing page for full details.
Which medical aids do you accept?
All major medical aids are accepted. Where possible, direct claims are submitted on your behalf; the patient remains liable for any shortfall not covered by the scheme.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your ID, medical aid card if applicable, and any previous test results or specialist letters relevant to your concern. For paediatric visits, please bring the child's clinic card.
Are walk-ins welcome?
Walk-ins are welcome when availability allows; booking ahead is recommended to avoid waiting.
What are your consulting hours?
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00. Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00. Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays. After hours, please contact your nearest emergency department.
Can I bring my child for a consultation?
Yes. Dr Murray offers paediatric consultations for infants, children and adolescents, including routine growth and development checks. See the paediatric consultations page for more.
What does a women's health consultation include?
A women's health consultation is a general wellness consultation focused on female health. Routine screenings may form part of the visit. See the women's health page for details.
How does a psychiatric care consultation work?
It is a GP-led mental health assessment — an unhurried, confidential conversation followed by supportive care and, where clinically indicated, an onward referral to a specialist. See the psychiatric care page for details.
Do you make referrals to specialists?
Yes. Where a specialist opinion is clinically indicated, Dr Murray will arrange a clear referral and where helpful, coordinate with the specialist on your behalf.
Is there parking at the practice?
Yes — patient parking is available on-site at Pretoria Health, 155 Soutpansberg Road, Rietondale.
What if I need help outside of consulting hours?
For urgent medical concerns outside of consulting hours, please go directly to your nearest emergency department or call your emergency services number.
